Multi-Floor Office Meal Delivery in Vancouver
Catering for multi-floor offices in Vancouver. Coordinated delivery across floors, departments, and schedules. From $14/person.

When Your Office Spans Multiple Floors
Companies occupying 3, 5, or 10 floors in a Vancouver tower face a unique catering challenge. A single delivery point does not work because employees on floor 22 will not walk to floor 15 for lunch. But separate deliveries to each floor multiplies logistics and cost. Most caterers either refuse multi-floor setups or charge per-floor delivery fees that make the program unaffordable.
We built our multi-floor delivery system specifically for large Vancouver offices. Companies with 80-500+ employees across multiple floors are some of our most successful programs because the per-person savings at scale are significant.
How Multi-Floor Delivery Works
Our system operates in three tiers:
Centralized (1 pickup point)
All meals delivered to one floor's kitchen or common area. Best for 2-3 floor offices where floors are adjacent. Lowest cost: standard per-person pricing ($14-17). Works when floors have shared kitchen access.
Hub and Spoke (2-3 delivery points)
Meals delivered to 2-3 designated floors. Other floors pick up from the nearest hub. Ideal for 4-7 floor offices. Small surcharge: $25/additional hub beyond the first. Most popular option for mid-size companies.
Floor-by-Floor (every floor gets delivery)
Direct delivery to each occupied floor. For 8+ floor offices or companies where floor-to-floor movement is restricted (separate badge access). Surcharge: $15/floor beyond the first 3. Still cheaper than separate catering contracts per department.
For a 200-person company on 6 floors using hub-and-spoke: approximately $56,000-68,000/month on daily lunches. That is $14-17/person, the same as a single-floor office. Plan it with our Event Budget Planner.
Department-Level Customization
Different floors often house different departments with different cultures. The engineering floor wants casual bowls and burritos. The executive floor wants premium options. The sales floor wants high-energy meals for afternoon calls. We handle department-level menu customization within a single delivery run.
Each floor's dietary profile is managed separately through our Dietary Planner. Floor captains (usually an office coordinator or team lead) manage their floor's headcount and preferences.

Multi-floor delivery requires careful elevator coordination. During peak hours (11:30 AM-12:30 PM), building elevators are congested. We pre-schedule freight elevator access with your building management. Our delivery team arrives at 11:15 AM, uses the freight elevator to pre-stage meals on each hub floor, and is out of the building by 11:45 AM. Your team never competes with our delivery staff for elevator access.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can different floors have different delivery times?
Yes. We can stagger delivery by floor if your departments have different schedules. For example, floor 10 at 11:30 AM and floor 15 at 12:00 PM. Each floor operates independently.
How do you handle headcount across many floors?
Each floor has a designated contact who confirms headcount by 9 AM daily. Our dashboard aggregates this automatically. You get a single invoice with floor-by-floor breakdowns for internal cost allocation.
What about hot food staying hot across a 30-minute delivery sequence?
We use insulated transport containers rated for 2-hour temperature holding. From our kitchen to the last floor delivered, food stays above 140F (the food safety threshold). Each floor gets meals at the same quality.
