Ingredient Description:

Calcium- This mineral is essential in maintaining strong healthy bones. Bones are constantly being broken down and reforming, 600-700 mg of calcium is exchanged in the bones everyday. Calcium is needed in the blood to keep the heart pumping because if the body is deficient in calcium it will take calcium from the bones to keep the heart pumping. Vitamin D- This vitamin is required by the body in it’s use of calcium; low levels of vitamin D can impair the body’s ability to effectively use calcium.

Vitamin K- Low levels of this vitamin may be related to osteoporosis.

Magnesium- This mineral is needed for strong healthy bones. Magnesium plays an important role in bone growth and helps prevent tooth decay by holding calcium in tooth enamel.

Zinc*- This mineral plays an important role in building bones.

Copper- The mineral zinc has a tendency to pull copper out of the body so copper is included in this formula to ensure proper copper levels in the body.

Manganese- This mineral is needed for proper growth and development and for the repair of bones and connective tissue.
